1st & 2nd time found stuck in the rocks at the Boca Chica jetties beach side.
Patient History
First date stranded 6/12/22 & date released 7/8/22. Initial weight 7.0 lb non-FP juvenile green.
Second date stranded 8/11/23. Initial weight 11.9 lb non-FP juvenile green.
Patient Injuries
1st stranding: minor plastron abrasions.
2nd stranding: minor abrasions on carapace and plastron.
Patient Treatments
1st stranding: started on Ceftazidime, Vit B Complex & fluids, took 3-view radiographs.
2nd stranding: in-house PCV = 32%, TP = 3.2 g/dl, glucose = 136, started on Ceftazidime, Vit B Complex, Normosol.
