One of the best places I've ever been. The staff is friendly and it's been wonderful to see this place grow as much as it has. They take amazing care of their turtles and making sure they get better. Would highly recommend stopping in if your visiting the island. Tickets are inexpensive and this is great for kids.

This place is amazing! The work they do is awesome. We stopped here on our first day on the island and it really impacted us. The kids were concerned about ensuring the beaches were clear of liter to save the sea turtles! The education and back stories that provide really enhance the experience. A must visit!

April through November is sea turtle nesting season on South Padre Island. Sea Turtle Inc. identifies these nests and moves them to a safe compound until hatched. There are dozens of scheduled releases during the summer months. There is no better way to teach your children the importance of protecting sea life than to attend a release and watch as tiny sea turtles enter the ocean for the first time! Here are a variety of turtles. It's a very educational activity and it's a great place to take children or the whole family.
