Sea Turtle Inc. Satellite Tracker

Why We Track Sea Turtles?

We envision a world with thriving sea turtle populations. To help make that a reality, our work doesn’t end when a turtle returns to the ocean. By outfitting select patients with satellite transmitters, we transform individual medical care into global applied research.

This tracking data is crucial for education and conservation, helping us understand exactly what these endangered sea turtles need to survive in the wild.

Help Us Tag the Next Sea Turtle

Satellite transmitters are one of the most powerful tools in sea turtle conservation, but they represent a major financial investment. Beyond the significant upfront cost of each tag, we also face ongoing satellite data fees. We rely entirely on public support to fund this critical applied research.

This tracking data is crucial for education and conservation, helping us understand exactly what these endangered sea turtles need to survive in the wild.
