Patient History

2.30 kg juvenile Atlantic Green

Patient Injuries

Mouth/Beak: One small notch in beak.
External Carapace Notes: Slight damage to one marginal scute on left and right. Some scrapes along carapace.
Plastron: Two symmetric abrasions: left abrasion about 3 cm in length, right side about 4.5 cm in length. Another smaller abrasion above left abrasion. Latter appears more fresh–pink in color. Multiple other abrasions on carapace.
External Wounds: Two small abrasions on top of head. Scrapes on top of head too.
Head/Flippers/Soft Tissue: Head has two small superficial abrasions. Small pieces of ends of front flippers missing. Minor scrapes on top of right front flipper. Right hind flipper has small scrape. Bottoms of front flippers have multiple small abrasions. Bottom flippers as well. Soft tissue also scraped minimally.

Patient Treatments

In-house PCV = 28%, TS = 4.2, Glucose = 119 Meds administered: Ceftaz (antibiotic) , VitB (appetite stimulant) & Normosol w. Dextrose (Fluids with sugar)
