Patient Injuries
External Carapace Notes: Carapace not as hard as it should be especially costal (Middle scutes) on the left and right sides
Plastron: Soft around the sides specifically of the left side. 2 healed
External Wounds: Missing the front right flipper, fairly new injury exudate present. Bones of the tail appear broken or misformed. Will examine on x-ray.
Soft Tissue: Skin is very soft and pliable (Not typical texture & toughness) possible edema (Fluid under the skin) of neck & shoulders
Patient Treatments
In-house PCV =20%, TS = 2.0 g/dl, Glucose = 62
Meds administered: Ceftaz, Vitamin B & Normosol & Iron Dextran for low PCV, Vitamin C & E
