Stranded 9/22/2013 Mac is a post hatchling Kemp’s ridley sea turtle. He was found by visitors just north of Access 6. He has no physical injuries but he is very weak. He may have washed up due to high tides or exhaustion from recent storms. He is ICU and getting fluids and vitamins. March Update:

Stranded 9/15/2013 Belinda is a juvenile Atlantic green sea turtle. She was accidentally hooked by a fisherman in South Bay. Luckily the fisherman did the right thing by reeling the sea turtle in and calling Sea Turtle, Inc. She had swallowed the hook but luckily our vet tech was able to remove it.
Stranded 9/7/2013 Baby was found by a Cameron County official in Isla Blanca Park. She was crawling around the dunes. Baby has no physical injuries and is already eating well. Pending a physical evaluation, she should be released by the end of September. Released 9/18/2013
