Entangled by fisherman. Line wrapped around both front flippers and the head.

Patient History

3.95 kg juvenile Atlantic Green

Patient Injuries

External Carapace Notes: A few flaking scutes. Small indents on left side along marginal scutes. Missing tip on right side on most caudal marginal scute.
Plastron: Superficial abrasions. Algae.
External Wounds: Superficial ligature marks around both front flippers.
Head/Flippers/Soft Tissue: Pink discoloration on underside of right rear flipper.

Patient Treatments

In-house PCV = 40%, TS = 3.0, Glucose = 87 Meds administered: Ceftaz (antibiotic) , VitB (appetite stimulant) & Normosol w. Dextrose (Fluids with sugar)
