Triston Jr. is a post-hatchling hawksbill sea turtle. He was found in Isla Blanca park by a young man named Triston. Triston Jr. is missing several chunks of his flippers and has a few small wounds on his plastron (bottom shell). He was most likely nibbled on by a predator.  He is in ICU and is getting fluids and antibiotics to treat his injuries.

January 2014 Update: Triston Jr has been moved to rehabilitation tank 2 with other juvenile hawksbill sea turtles!

April 2014: Triston Jr has been moved to rehabilitation tank 7 with other juvenile hawksbill sea turtles!

Ways to help Triston Jr.'s Recovery

Adopt Triston Jr.

One of the three primary missions at Sea Turtle, Inc. is rehabilitation. We work hard to rescue and return every sea turtle back to the wild. Proceeds from this adoption will go directly to purchase needed medical supplies, veterinary exams, x-rays, food and general care for our rehab turtles.
