Reason for Stranding

Turtle was found washed up on the beach at Mile Marker 14.

Patient History

2.15 kg juvenile Atlantic Green

Patient Injuries

Head/Flippers/Soft Tissue: notches taken out of the trailing end of both front flippers and both back flippers
External Carapace Notes: very minor scrapes on upper right carapace
Plastron: two very small abrasions

Patient Treatments

In-house PCV = 30%, TP = 4.4, Glucose = 96 Meds administered: Ceftaz (antibiotic) , VitB (appetite stimulant) & Normosol w. Dextrose (Fluids with sugar)
