Stuck in the rocks at Boca Chica jetties channel side

Patient History

5.3 lb non-FP juvenile green

Update: 6/1
– Current weight – 6.1 lbs
– Receiving medication/debridement/ cold laser therapy every 3 days
– Minor wounds have all healed and turtle is eating very well

Patient Injuries

Severe abrasions on plastron, minor abrasions on flippers and chin cloacal prolapse upon arrival

Patient Treatments

-started on Ceftazidime, Vit B Complex & fluids, administered meloxicam -took 3-view radiographs -will dry-dock overnight and will place in shallow freshwater tomorrow morning
