Stranded 12/29/2015

Bobby is a juvenile Atlantic green sea turtle. He was found floating in the shipping channel, unable to dive. There were no obvious injuries but x-rays show that he may have a slight impaction.

January update: Bobby was impacted with organic material, which he has passed successfully. He is doing well and has been moved into rehabilitation Tank 5; however, he has a small FP tumor that must be treated prior to release. The FP tumor was removed in late April and Bobby recovered quickly!!!

Ways to help Bobby's Recovery

Adopt Bobby

One of the three primary missions at Sea Turtle, Inc. is rehabilitation. We work hard to rescue and return every sea turtle back to the wild. Proceeds from this adoption will go directly to purchase needed medical supplies, veterinary exams, x-rays, food and general care for our rehab turtles.
