Stranded 9/22/2013 Little Trucker is a post-hatchling Kemp’s ridley. He was found washed up in Sargassum seaweed in Isla Blanca Park. He is missing a back flipper, possibly due to a predator attack. Belinda

  Stranded 9/15/2013   Belinda is a juvenile Atlantic green sea turtle. She was accidentally hooked by a fisherman in South Bay. Luckily the fisherman did the right thing by reeling the sea turtle in and calling Sea Turtle, Inc. She had swallowed the hook but luckily our vet tech was able to remove it.
