Reason for Stranding

Accidentally caught by a fisherman at the Boca Chica Jetties. 

Patient History

Atlantic green 20.0 kg

Patient Injuries

External Carapace Notes: Some abrasion with blood on 4th & 6th right marginal scutes

Plastron: Very superficial scratches

Head/Flippers/Soft Tissue: Little bit of blood on leading edge of right, front flipper–blood in margins between scutes. Braided line wrapped twice around right, front flipper. Embedded but not breaking skin.

Patient Treatments

In House Bloods: PCV: 30%, TS: 3.6 , Glucose: 142 Meds administered: Standard protocol (Ceftaz, VitB & Normosol)
