Stranded in Boca Chica jetties.

Patient History

Atlantic green 1.90 kg

Patient Injuries

External Carapace Notes: Severe abrasions to the center of the carapace. Two notches missing out of the left marginal scutes. One notch missing out of the right marginal scutes. One moderate abrasion toward the cranial end of the carapace. Embedded barnacle toward caudal end of right side of carapace.

Plastron: Three distinctive rings on the plastron and the ventral side of left front flipper. Healing plastron abrasions. Sea urchin spines present.

Head/Flippers/Soft Tissue: Prolapsed cloaca. Right front flipper slightly swollen. Abrasions to all four flippers on ventral side. Shallow cuts on ventral side of left rear flipper. Tiny notch missing from left rear flipper. Abrasions to dorsal side of rear flippers.

In House Bloods: PCV: 28%, TS: 2.8 , Glucose: 172 Meds administered: Standard protocol (Ceftaz, VitB & Normosol)
