Stuck at the Rocks at the Jetties

4.6 lb juvenile non-FP green
-BCS 3/5 (normal body condition)
-mentation: alert
-epibiota: moderate barnacle load on carapace
Patient Injuries
severe plastron abrasions from the rocks, some marginal scute damage, light soft tissue damage in the inguinal area, moderate carapace abrasions, oral exam = seaweed in the mouth; took a few raspy sounding breaths
Patient Treatments
tarted on Ceftazidime, Vit B complex, Vit C (to promote wound healing), and fluids
-will also give a few doses of Meloxicam (anti-inflammatory) due to plastron damage
-took 3-view radiographs (x-rays)
