Program Options
One Tiny Turtle:
Dive into the life cycle of a sea turtle with this charming story that takes readers from hatchling to adulthood. Discover the incredible journey of sea turtles and the challenges they face at each stage of their life.
One Turtle’s Last Straw:
The Real-Life Rescue that Sparked a Sea Change: Learn about how pollution affected a sea turtle and inspired a national movement for sustainability. This story highlights the impact of environmental issues and the power of collective action.
Program Highlights:
Interactive Storytelling: Sea Turtle, Inc. will read one of the selected books to your group, providing an engaging and educational experience that brings the stories to life.
Craft Activity: After the story, students will receive a print out of a digital copy of a fun craft related to the book’s theme. As they create their artwork, they can reflect on the story and its messages while having a chance to ask questions.
Take-Home Art: Each student will complete a craft project that they can take home, serving as a reminder of the lesson learned and their creative experience.
Program Objectives:
Understand Sea Turtle Life Cycles or Pollution Impacts: Depending on the book selected, students will
either learn about the stages of a sea turtle’s life or the effects of pollution on sea turtles.
