What is the Global Impact Grant?

After more than 45 years, Sea Turtle Inc. has grown from its modest grassroots beginning to a worldwide name known for its tireless conservation efforts, decisive cold stun response, and innovative medical care. In 2024, we adopted a vision statement of a world with thriving sea turtle populations and decided to focus our reputation, funding, and efforts on helping small organizations across the globe make meaningful movement towards that vision. Since the launch of the Global Impact Grant, we have already funded more than $350,000 in research and conservation efforts across seven countries. We know that as we deepen our dedication to our vision, we can create global change and lasting impact to bring about a world with thriving sea turtle populations.
