Q: How far in advance should I book my event?

We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and space. Larger events (weddings, corporate functions) may require additional lead time.

Q: How do I check availability or reserve a date?

Please contact our Event Team directly at info@seaturtleinc.org. We'll follow up with date options, pricing, and availability.

Q: Is a deposit required to hold my date?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is typically due closer to the event date - our team will provide all payment timelines in writing.

Q: What types of event spaces do you offer?

We have a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, including an amphitheater, education building, hospital, resident center, and more. Each space offers a unique coastal backdrop perfect for different event styles and sizes.

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum guest count for events?

Capacity varies by space. Some locations are best suited for intimate gatherings of 20-30 guests, while other can accommodate larger groups. Once we know your expected attendance, we can recommend the best fit. 

Q: Do you allow outside vendors or catering?

Yes, approved outside vendors are welcome. Use of our on-site kitchen may be available depending on your event package, and we're happy to provide recommendations for local caterers and rental companies. 

Q: Can I tour the spaces before booking?

Absolutely! We encourage site visits so you can see the spaces in person and envision your event. Tours are by appointment. 

Q: What's included in a birthday party experience?

All birthday parties include a reserved party space, guided tour of our turtles, an interactive activity, photo op station, and themed party favors. Additional options include experiences like turtle feedings, mascot appearances, and custom adoption certificates.

Q: What ages are the birthday packages designed for?

Our parties are designed for ocean lovers of all ages, but are especially popular for children ages 4-12. Activities can be tailored to suit your group. 

Q: Can I bring my own decorations or cake?

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own decorations, cake, and snacks. We simply ask that you avoid confetti, balloons, or single-use plastics to protect our turtles and environment. 

Q: How long are birthday parties?

Most parties last around 2 hours, but timing can be adjusted depending on your chosen package and activities. 

Q: What kind of add-ons are available?

We offer exclusive enhancements such as private feeding, behind-the-scenes tours, professional photography, custom decor, themed games, and even the chance to name a sea turtle.

Q: Are enhancements available for all event types? 

Yes! Most enhancements can be added to your visit, birthdays, weddings, corporate events, or other celebrations. Some are age-or time-sensitive, which our team will review with you during planning. 

Q: How do I add enhancements to my booking?

Enhancements can be selected at the time of booking or added later (subject to availability). Our team will help you build the perfect combination for your event. 

Q: How does my event support Sea Turtle Inc.?

Every event directly supports our mission of sea turtle conservation, rehabilitation, and public education. Hosting your celebration with us means you're making a real difference for marine life. 

Q: Will guests see sea turtles during the event?

Yes! Most of our event spaces are located near our resident turtles, and tours or encounters can be built into your package for an even closer look. 

Q: Can my event include a conservation talk or presentation?

Yes! We can incorporate a short, engaging educational program into your event to inspire and inform your guests.

Q: Is there parking available for guests?

Yes, we have dedicated parking areas for event guests. Parking availability may vary depending on the time of day and size of your event. 

Q: What happens if it rains?

Most of our spaces are covered or indoors. For outdoor events, we'll work with you on a weather contingency plan so your celebration can go on - rain or shine. 

Q: Will there be staff on-site during the event?

Absolutely. Our trained staff will be present to assist with logistics, answer questions, and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. 

Q: Are your facilities accessible?

Yes. Most of our spaces are wheelchair-accessible, and we'll work with you to ensure all guests have a comfortable experience. 

• We are an environmentally friendly space. Absolutely NO balloons, glitter, piñatas, inflatables, streamers, confetti, or silly string.
• Any decorating for the party must fall within your time allotment.
• You are welcome to bring your own food or have it delivered. NO hot plates, crockpots, chafing dishes, sparkler candles, or any other heating or warming devices are allowed during birthday parties.
• Children are allowed to be dropped off for the party, but you are required to have enough chaperones for monitoring the children during the party. We require at least 1 adult to every 5 children.
• Pets are prohibited during birthday parties.
• Bikes, scooters, skateboards, and water guns are prohibited.

• Written notice is required and must be acknowledged by the Party Manager no later than 10 business days in advance of the reserved event or birthday party, for a 50% refund of your rental fee. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required to reserve your venue. There are no refunds for birthday parties canceled less than 10 business days before the confirmed date.

  In the event of extreme inclement weather, a partial refund or rescheduling of your party will be issued. An indoor alternative may be offered, if available, but cannot be guaranteed. Rescheduling may not be possible due to our tight calendar, but every attempt will be made to do so.
