Reason for Stranding
Stranded near dunes around mile marker 6 covered in algae and sand.
March 2020- No longer receiving any injectable medications or treatments; we are simply trying to get this turtle to gain more weight so we are feeding copious amounts of seafood and veggies daily. Curious George will be ready for release soon!
Minor plastron abrasions, swollen neck, and tip of left front flipper actively bleeding.
Ways to help Curious George's Recovery
Adopt Curious George
One of the three primary missions at Sea Turtle, Inc. is rehabilitation. We work hard to rescue and return every sea turtle back to the wild. Proceeds from this adoption will go directly to purchase needed medical supplies, veterinary exams, x-rays, food and general care for our rehab turtles.
